In this workshop you will make a leather covered travel journal using artists quality hot press paper and a decorative long stitch, you will have a choice of colours to choose from for your cover.

 All the basic bookbinding techniques will be covered, folding paper, creating signatures and stitching the book together, at the end you will go home with a useful journal, great for travel or just keeping handy for doodling in. 

Allie has been a member of Queensland Bookbinders’ Guild for the last four years and has been binding books for years before. She is interested in medieval style bindings and does historic reenactments as well.
