BVAC Arts & Craft Pop-Up Brings Creativity to Mt Coot-tha
The Brisbane Visual Arts Community's Arts & Craft Pop-Up once again transformed the Mt Coot-tha Auditorium into a vibrant celebration of local creativity, welcoming visitors over three wonderful days from 26–28 June.
Artists, makers and creative groups from across Brisbane and South East Queensland came together to showcase an inspiring collection of handmade art and craft, giving visitors the opportunity to meet the makers, discover new artistic mediums and purchase unique handcrafted pieces directly from local artists.
The Pop-Up featured an incredible variety of work, including original artwork, ceramics, glass art, jewellery, textiles, book arts, porcelain painting, enamelling and much more. Every stall offered something different, highlighting the diversity and talent within Brisbane's creative community.

Throughout the weekend, visitors enjoyed browsing the handmade creations, chatting with artists about their techniques and creative processes, relaxing with coffee and refreshments, and taking part in our popular "Find a Fish" competition.
The event continues to provide an important opportunity for local artists to showcase and sell their work while connecting directly with the community. Every purchase helps support artists and encourages the continued growth of Brisbane's vibrant arts sector.
